Here at Erroneous Noise, we strive to bring you a wide variety of content. This is a glorified way of saying we are totally random, both in the music we choose and the related commentary. This installment, broken up into three segments, proves this point. The moniker, coined by Mr. Grant, stands for Breathy British White Chicks. If anyone is offended, you may need to reassess your life. But in all seriousness, this trilogy dives into a variety of genres with the common tie being Caucasian lead singers of British origin that we have an affinity for. We touch on some of our favorite songs and albums from artists such as Portishead, Psapp and Stereolab. It’s a long ride through the UK, but well worth the journey.
Love Is…
March 31, 2010
Even if you are not intimately familiar with The Maestro’s catalogue, chances are, depending on your age you were conceived to it. There is arguably no other artist in R&B/Pop history that exemplified “Love” more than Barrence Eugene Carter, otherwise known to us as Barry White. He even created a theme for it (“Love’s Theme”). In addition, he produced 106 gold and 41 platinum albums, 20 gold and ten platinum singles, with worldwide sales in excess of 100 million. Big stats for a big man whose influence and legacy cannot be measured. Walk with us as we wade through the Walrus of Love’s career, from his stint in jail as a youth to his breakout success not only as a singer, but as a prolific producer and arranger. Gone but never forgotten, the Icon is still Love.
Radiohead – Part 2
September 8, 2009

We are back to pick up where we left off in our Radiohead series. We continue to take a closer look at this group and offer our thoughts as to what makes them such a great band. So without further ado, Erroneous Noise presents the second installment to our Radiohead show. Enjoy!
Radiohead – Part 1
July 30, 2009

Pained (not T-Pain) vocals, robotic beats and dark chords…not exactly the “soundtrack to summer” but nonetheless very important music that *you* should hear if you haven’t already. Join us as we take a bizarre ride to the far-side where the group Radiohead dwells. Most think of the album Okay Computer when this group’s name is mentioned, but our two-part special digs into the Kid A and In Rainbows records, highlighting our favorite moments musically and of course Thom Yorke’s signature lyrics, most of which we don’t understand. But hopefully by the end of this series you will understand the greatness that is Radiohead.
CURTIS…
June 1, 2009
If you could only pick one artist to “define” soul music, who would you choose? Our answer…the one and only Curtis Mayfield. Take a listen to our random musings about one of soul music’s greatest pioneers. We get into specific songs as well as Mr. Mayfield’s impact on a generation. There is only so much talking that can be done about the man, so we let the music speak for itself. This is movement music…get on board (no ticket required).

Team Mizell
May 5, 2009
Larry and Fonce Mizell produced some of the most soulful, funky, and jazzy music of the 70′s. We think they play so beautifully, don’t you agree?
